Supreme Court to hear hyperlinking liability case Dec. 7

The Supreme Court of Canada granted the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) intervener status Monday in Crookes v. Newton, a case seeking to determine if and when posting a hyperlink can amount to defamatory publication.
