ITU forecasts worldwide mobile broadband users to exceed 900 million this year

There were 479 million fixed broadband subscriptions worldwide in early 2010, representing a penetration rate of 22.6 per cent, according to statistics released by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on Wednesday.
