Toronto-based researchers have assembled an online survey that hopes to capture the size and scope of Canada’s digital media industry. The Pixel to Product research study launched Monday gathers data on the salaries, job titles and benefits of people working in digital media. The survey will stay online until it logs 10,000 responses. Researchers will then release a series of industry report cards and break down the data regionally and nationally. The last comprehensive data study on the digital media industry was completed by the city of Toronto six years ago and did not include analysis of salaries or job titles.
