Bell Canada announced Monday that Martine Turcotte has been appointed to the role of vice-chair of the company and Tom Little will now lead its business markets in Quebec. Bell said in a release that the newly appointed executives will report to George Cope, president and CEO of BCE Inc. Turcotte joined Bell’s legal counsel in 1988 and most recently held the position of chief legal and regulatory officer. The company said that, as vice-chair, Turcotte will be responsible for all of the company’s business, government, community investments and other corporate relationships across Quebec. In his new position, Little, who has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, will help move the company’s business markets “into a new era of broadband business communications,” the company said. Before taking on an initial role with Bell as president of Bell Wholesale, Little served as CEO of global life sciences research company VisualSonics.
