GlassBox Television Inc. will launch its new Travel+Escape specialty channel on Nov. 1, the company said Wednesday. GlassBox said in a release its new channel, acquired from CTV in a $10 million deal, will feature a new look and website. GlassBox added that the website will offer travel stories from the world’s leading travel writers. The channel will also provide viewers with more than 300 hours of prime time programming, the company said. GlassBox said it is offering the new channel to viewers on a free, three-month preview that will begin Nov. 1 and run until Jan. 31, 2012.
