Bell Canada Enterprises Inc. subsidiary Bell Mobility has started offering free high-speed Wi-Fi services along one of Montreal’s busiest commercial strips, the company announced Wednesday. Bell said in a release that it has started offering its customers and the general public free Wi-Fi access along Saint-Laurent Boulevard between Sherbrooke Street and Mont-Royal Avenue. The service includes 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi per 24-hour cycle for the general public and unlimited access “around the clock” for Bell Mobility customers, Bell said. Offered in partnership with merchant association the Société de développement du boulevard Saint-Laurent (SDBSL), the service will also be available in shops and restaurants located along the popular commercial strip. "This partnership will enrich the experience of thousands of visitors, workers and residents who all contribute to the energy and excitement of Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Francis Blouin, executive director of the SDBSL, said a statement. “It is great news, and fits in with the constant evolution of Saint-Laurent Boulevard, a historical symbol of the development of Montreal."
