ROHM gets record-breaking wireless transmission speeds

Japanese semiconductor manufacturer ROHM Co. Ltd. has successfully transmitted wireless data at speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps—the fastest wireless transmission ever recorded—and may soon be capable of transmitting data as quickly as 30 Gbps, the company said Monday.
