AT&T, T-Mobile temporarily withdraw merger

U.S. telecom giants T-Mobile USA and AT&T Inc. temporarily withdrew a proposal to merge the companies Thursday amid increasing signs that the proposed $39 billion US deal would not gain regulatory approval.
