Network investment, data charges, best remedies for congestion: CRTC chair

The second-best remedy to the problem of Internet congestion is “economic” traffic management, or charging higher prices for faster Internet speeds, CRTC chair Konrad von Finckenstein said Wednesday in a speech at the International Institute of Communications’ Telecommunications and Media Forum in Washington, D.C.
