Research In Motion Ltd. has delayed its annual presentation to financial analysts until its new BlackBerry 10 smartphones are launched this year, Reuters reported Tuesday. The presentation to analysts is usually given during the BlackBerry World conference in May. "We will hold a separate session targeted at the interests of the investment community later this year, once BlackBerry 10 is launched," RIM spokeswoman Tenille Kennedy told Reuters. The BlackBerry 10 smartphones were originally planned for release in early 2012 but that launch was delayed to the latter half of 2012. The date and location for the session for analysts has not been announced. RIM co-CEOs Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie stepped down from their positions in January and appointed company executive Thorsten Heins as CEO. Investors had called for a shakeup of senior management amid falling market share to wireless device competitors Google Inc. and Apple Inc.
