Companies investigating shorter transatlantic fibre route

A new low-latency, high bandwidth route may connect New York to Landeyajasandur, Iceland, companies Eastlink (owned by Bragg Communications Inc.), Tele Greenland and Hibernia Atlantic said Monday.
