A new local access contract awarded to Xplornet Communications Inc., Nexicom Systems Inc., and BCE Inc. subsidiary Bell Aliant will bring high-speed Internet access to more than 70,000 homes and businesses in three Ontario municipalities, the Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (EOWC) said Tuesday.
