Smartphone additions bolster Rogers’ Q2

Rogers Communications Inc. added 87,000 new wireless subscribers on postpaid contracts but shed another 20,000 cable TV subscribers during the three-month period ending June 30, the company said in a quarterly financial statement Tuesday.
