EU seeking removal of investment restrictions: documents

The European Union’s demands in trade negotiations with Canada continue to include the elimination of foreign ownership restrictions for Canada’s telecommunications and book publishing sectors as well as removing reviews under the Investment Canada Act for transactions involving European companies, according to documents leaked to Quebec political party la Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ).
