Fred Godard resigned as a director with International Datacasting Corp. (IDC), the research firm said Thursday. In a release, IDC said Godard’s resignation was effective immediately and that it follows an announcement last week that he will no longer serve as the company’s president and CEO, roles he had held since March 2010. With Godard’s departure, IDC’s board now consists of Georges Ata, Graham McBride, Peter Strom, and chairman Del Lippert, who is also serving as the company’s interim CEO. IDC said last week it intends to expand its board to take on two additional positions. IDC said it is conducting a search for a new president and CEO and expects to fill the roles in the next three to four months. The firm said last week it appointed Virginia Lee Williams to replace Rudi Polednik as its vice-president of sales and marketing.
