Rogers Communications Inc.’s OMNI.2 conventional television station will feature ethnic-focused content “exclusively,” OMNI said Friday. In a release, OMNI said the Ontario-based station willl feature an additional 35 hours of ethnic-focused content as of Jan. 21. The content will include multilingual documentaries, exclusive coverage of the Indian Film Industry Awards and Bollywood programming, the release said. “With an increased focus on content geared towards the Asian and South Asian communities, the new programming schedule reflects the changing face of Canada,” OMNI said in the release. OMNI.2 is a division of OMNI Television.
