FCC approves T-Mobile, MetroPCS merger

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved a proposed merger between Deutsche Telekom AG subsidiary T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS Communications Inc., clearing the way for a deal that will combine the United States' fourth- and fifth-largest wireless carriers.
