Apple devices ‘close the gap’ on Samsung

Apple Inc. “closed the gap” with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s 21.2 per cent worldwide mobile device market cent share in the fourth quarter of 2012 as iPhone 5 and iPad Mini shipments brought Apple to 20.3 per cent, research firm IDC said in data released Tuesday.
