Smartphone shipments outnumber mobile shipments: IDC

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. shipped 70.7 million smartphones in the first quarter of 2013 and led the industry with a 32.7 per cent share of the worldwide smartphone market, research firm IDC said in new data released Thursday.
