Linda Oliver is retiring from her role as vice-president of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC). Oliver, who has been with ITAC for 13 years and works out of the group’s Ottawa office, handled the organization’s government relations work. In a brief interview Thursday, Oliver said she will be replaced by Cindy Baker, who was named ITAC’s vice-president of government relations and policy in September. “I’m retiring, it’s time to go,” she said. “Everyone should do it sometime,” she added.
