Smartphone unlocking shouldn’t be limited to current customers: PIAC

The Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC) is urging the CRTC to mandate service providers to unlock devices even if the customer doesn’t have an active account with the provider, in a Part 1 application submitted on Wednesday.
