CRTC says yes to new Alta. radio station, no to two Quebec applications

In a trio of decisions Monday, the CRTC approved a broadcast licence application for a new station in Cochrane, Alta., and declined both an application for a new station in Lachute, Que. and to renew a defunct community station’s existing licence.
