Telecoms say oral hearing on wholesale rate not necessary

After an urgent plea by BCE Inc. requesting the Federal Court hold an oral hearing on the deadline of a CRTC order to implement new wholesale internet rates that it is protesting, Bell and other telecoms are saying such a process is not necessary to grant a stay of the decision.
