CRTC approves Bell’s ‘urgent’ Wangiri-blocking request

After BCE Inc. asked it to grant an “urgent” approval to block the one-ring phone scam calls known as Wangiri calls at the end of March, on account of the increased call volume associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the CRTC today approved Bell’s request until June 1 of this year.
