CRTC rejects Rogers request for interveners at Shaw merger hearing

The CRTC denied Rogers Communications Inc.’s request for several third-party interveners to appear at an upcoming Nov. 22 hearing into the company’s acquisition of Shaw Communications Inc., because the company cannot file a procedural request on behalf of third parties unless it provides proof of authorization.
