

Bell posts quarterly profits driven by wireless growth

Bell reported a slight increase in overall revenue of $49 million or 0.8 per cent, up to $5.84 billion versus $5.79 billion for this time last year. The company attributed the results to “greater media advertising and subscriber revenues, and ongoing growth in mobile phones, retail internet and internet protocol TV (IPTV) subscriber bases coupled with rate increases,” according to the quarterly earnings report.
