Rogers and Ericsson combine for standalone 5G network

Monday Rogers Communications Inc. announced it was partnering with Ericsson AB on rolling out Canada’s first standalone 5G network. The Toronto-based telecom had earlier deployed the country’s first standalone 5G core and first standalone device certification.
