CRTC directing numbering administrator to set aside 5 area codes for future use

The CRTC is directing the Canadian Numbering Administrator (CNA) to set aside five area codes for five area code complexes covering British Columbia, Alberta, the Golden Horseshoe region that surrounds Lake Ontario in Southern Ontario, northeastern and central Ontario, and Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
