The recent history of Rogers Communications Inc. has had more drama than anything broadcast on its CityTV network. The company poached its CEO Joe Natale from Telus Corp. only to ultimately dismiss him. It battled the Competition Bureau in order to be allowed to take over Shaw Communications. Then there was the internecine squabble between chair Edward Rogers and his mother and sisters over the direction the firm should be taking.
