

Ethics committee calls for overhaul of Privacy Act to protect public servants’ data

The House of Commons Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics has tabled a report on tracking tools used by the federal government, laying out a series of 14 recommendations designed to protect public servants’ mobile devices and computers from government overreach.
