Twenty five employees of Rogers Communications Inc. in Abbotsford, B.C. are set to hit the picket line on Thursday, June 19 after talks with the Toronto-based telco broke down. The workers are members of the United Steelworkers union (USW) Local 1944, which represents 280 technicians at Rogers’ facilities in the province.
