Various Canadian cultural organizations say they believe writing, music, and film could be among the country’s most economically valuable exports especially right now while Canada is in the midst of a nasty trade war with the United States, but are expressing concerns that stagnated public funding risks forfeiting Canada’s competitive advantage in the arts and culture industry.
