Feds pledge $120 million to bolster 988 service

The federal government is allocating $120 million over the next two years to improve the 988 suicide prevention helpline, it was announced Friday, Jan. 16. The announcement came in Toronto at the headquarters of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), which administers the 988 system.
