FBI freezes out Mounties over CBC memo about terrorism

Authorities are remaining tight-lipped about a New York Times report that the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) halted cooperation with the RCMP over a now-lifted directive from CBC/Radio-Canada. Both police agencies and the public broadcaster declined to comment.
