Broadcasters apply for local programming funds

CHEK Media Group and Newfoundland Broadcasting Co. Ltd. are asking the CRTC to let their Victoria and St. John’s, N.L. stations receive funding from its Small Market Local Programming Fund (SMLPF), the independent broadcasters said.
