CBC to shoot two hockey games in HD

The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. plans to broadcast its first hockey game in high-definition television (HDTV) on November 22 as part of a larger plan to begin offering more HD content. The Heritage Game on that date in Edmonton between the Wayne Gretzky team and the Guy Lafleur team, as well as the subsequent NHL match-up between the Edmonton Oilers and the Montreal Canadiens, are being shot in high definition by the public broadcaster.
