Telecoms renew call for delay of STIR/SHAKEN

Canada’s incumbent telecoms made another plea for deferral of the application of the STIR/SHAKEN condition. In a Nov. 9 letter to the CRTC, the Emergency Services Working Group (ESWG) and the Network Working Group (NTWG), augmented by BCE Inc., Telus Corp., and Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holdings Corp., noted that only two filings have been made regarding their original application.
