Globalive calls for CRTC investigation into Rogers-Quebecor Freedom roaming rates deal

On the same day the Innovation Minister François-Philippe Champagne approved the transfer of Freedom Mobile’s spectrum assets from Shaw Communications Inc. to Quebecor Inc., and thus paving the way for the acquisition of Shaw by Rogers Communications Inc., the CRTC has published on its website a fresh Part 1 complaint from former Freedom suitor Globalive Capital calling into question the legality of the arrangements between Rogers and Quebecor.
