Montreal animation studio growing
Brief | November 22, 2007
Amusement Cyanide Inc., one of France's largest video games development studios, has announced plans to hire 65 new employees over the next three years for its Montreal facility. Opened earlier this year as a first step at penetrating the lucrative North American market, the Montreal studio is working on several new projects, including the development of a new 3D animation engine which integrates physical and biomechanical laws under the control of a powerful artificial intelligence system. The engine will generate real-life, real-time character behavior for collisions, falls, tackles, kicks, punches, which take into account all the forces governing the game environment. Cyanide games include Cycling Manager, Horse Racing Manager, Pro Rugby Manager and Chaos League for PC.
