Nokia presents technology roadmap, new handsets
Nokia, at its Nokia Connection events held in Helsinki and Singapore, presented highlights of its technology roadmap, introducing a vision of mobility that emphasizes human technology. During the two-day event, the company illustrated a common theme of delivering optimized user experience through new product introductions, and applications and services demonstrations. Nokia also outlined its multi-radio strategy. Some of the handsets introduced focus on imaging and sound. The 6280 comes equipped with a two-megapixel and VGA camera. The 6270 features also features a two-megapixel camera, but has a flash as well as an easy-to-use music player that supports digital sound in a variety of formats. Outlining its multi-radio strategy, Nokia said that it would offer broadband wireless solutions for operators, including UMTS, evolved versions of HSDPA as well as WiMAX.
