The CRTC has denied an application for a new radio station in Nova Scotia because its service area would have encroached that of existing stations. It said in a decision Tuesday that Atlantic Broadcasters Ltd. had applied for a broadcasting licence for a country music station in the Antigonish, N.S., market, whose contours would overlap those of three other stations in the area.
