IT-services company CGI Group Inc. said Wednesday it has teamed up with Baseline Telematics to use real-time vehicle metrics to help insurance company set their rates. CGI said in a news release it would incorporate Baseline's platform, which tracks vehicle data such as location, mileage, speed, braking and acceleration, into CGI's own insurance-rating software called Ratabase. "By integrating the platform with Ratabase, current Ratabase clients will benefit from a cost-effective telematics solution that enhances their existing rating models," CGI said in the release....
