CRTC revokes Bloomberg TV Canada licence

The CRTC granted a request by Bloomberg TV Canada to revoke its broadcasting licence Friday.
The channel eliminated its in-house programming this August, according to a report in the Globe and Mail this summer. Its broadcasting licence — also issued in August — specified that it must run 35 per cent Canadian programming.
The channel launched in 2015 as a partnership between Channel Zero Inc. and Bloomberg Inc.
