TeraGo Inc. said it reached a $9.5-million deal to acquire data centre operator Data Centers Canada Inc. In a release Thursday, TeraGo said the acquisition would support its strategy of offering complementary services to business customers. It said Data Centers Canada operates a 16,000-square foot data centre in Vaughan, Ont., and offers “colocation” and “disaster recovery” services. TeraGo said the deal is expected to close on May 31 and should total about $9.5 million in cash. “Data Centers Canada's operations and management team will continue on with the Company to ensure a smooth transition,” TeraGo said....
