Dean Prevost, president of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.’s MTS Allstream business unit, will leave the company on Jan. 17. MTS said in a release Tuesday he would step down “in order to pursue other interests.” “A key member of Allstream since its founding, Dean has led every major function in the company,” the release said. “During his tenure, Mr. Prevost successfully reorganized the company, shed unprofitable businesses, deepened the company's cloud service capabilities by adding hosting and security portfolios, and built a renewed sales and marketing operation.” Michael Strople, currently chief operating officer at Allstream, will replace Prevost as president. ...
