The CRTC has approved two separate applications to operate English-language radio stations in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador. On Friday, the commission said on its website it approved an application to operate an FM radio station at the 102.3 MHz frequency in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, Ont. from Bayshore Broadcasting Corp. The station will offer a country music format, with “emerging Canadian talent” and will include “public affairs programming, editorial comments on community issues, entertainment news and health- and community-related information.”...
