Rogers condo connection could be cut off without Bell access

The CRTC said Thursday that unless a developer provides BCE Inc. "timely access" to a Toronto condominium building about to accept new occupants, the other service providers that have been given access to the building, including Rogers Communications Inc., will not be permitted to provide services there. The commission said the other service provider that would be stopped from serving occupants in the Chaz Yorkville, developed by Edenshaw Homes Ltd., is Beanfield Technologies Inc., a Toronto-based service provider operating on its own fibre network.
