Toronto-based Fuse Powered Inc., which runs a mobile-app publishing and monetization platform, said Tuesday it has purchased Corona Labs Inc., a Palo Alto, Calif.-based company that also makes software for developers of mobile apps. Fuse said in a news release that the two companies would have a combined reach of more than 200 million active users "with a powerful combined platform supporting more than 10,000 mobile game and app publishers worldwide." The company said the purchase "accelerates Fuse's agenda of bringing its next generation of mobile monetization products to the market and significantly expands the company's existing presence in San Francisco and Silicon Valley."
