New numbers emerge in mandatory carriage renewal consultation

The CRTC has issued a call for comments after correcting the data it used to determine wholesale rates during the regulator’s look at mandatory carriage renewals, according to a Friday letter.  Originally, the consultation which prompted a hearing on the matter used data indicating that the rate of subscription losses had declined in the 2015-2016 year, from the previous 2014-2015 period.
