CRTC approves radio station licences in Quebec and Manitoba

The CRTC has given the green light for three licences to operate radio stations in Quebec and Manitoba. On Thursday, the commission said it approved an application by Dufferin Communications Inc., which is owned by Evanov Communications Inc., to replace its ethnic commercial AM CKJS radio station to an FM station at 92.7 MHz in Winnipeg. The station will broadcast 126 hours of local programming per broadcast week, including local community reporting.
